Tera Raids Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Tera Raid builds in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are designed to help players defeat the powerful Pokémon that they encounter in Tera Raids. Tera Raids are cooperative multiplayer battles where players team up to defeat a single Pokémon. The Pokémon in Tera Raids are typically very powerful, so it is important to have a well-built team.

When building a Tera Raid team, it is important to consider the following factors:

  • Type coverage: It is important to have a team with a variety of different types, so that you can deal damage to any type of Pokémon that you encounter in a Tera Raid.
  • Moveset: It is important to choose moves that are effective against the Pokémon that you are facing. You should also consider using moves that can boost your stats or debuff the opponent’s stats.
  • Ability: Many Pokémon have abilities that can be very useful in Tera Raids. For example, the hidden ability Defiant for Annihilape will increase his attack two stages if they are hit with a stat lowering move.
  • Held item: There are a number of different held items that can be useful in Tera Raids. For example, Shell Bell will restore your Pokémon’s HP based off damage done. Throat Spray will increase your Pokémon’s Sp. Atk.

Here are a few examples of Tera Raid builds in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet:

  • Iron Hands: Iron Hands is a powerful Fighting/Electric-type Pokémon with a high base Attack stat. It is a good choice for Tera Raids because it can deal a lot of damage by performing Belly Drum, and then either Drain Punch to recover HP lost – or Thunder Punch as a great coverage option. Iron Hands should hold Booster Energy to enable his Quark Drive ability.
  • Azumarill: Azumarill is a Water/Fairy-type Pokémon, with the ability Huge Power which doesn’t it’s attack stat, allowing it to deal massive damage. With Belly Drum, Play Rough, Liquidation and Misty Terrain, it can setup and defeat multiple foes – especially great against Fighting, Dark and those pesky Dragons. Azumarill can hold the item Shell Bell to restore it’s HP.
  • Corviknight: Corviknight is a Flying/Steel-type Pokémon with a high base Defense stat. It is a good choice for Tera Raids because it can take a lot of physical damage and use Screech to lower Def by two stages, or and Fake Tears to lower Sp. Def by two stages. Add in Fly and Roost, and Corviknight becomes especially hard to kill. With Mirror Armor as it’s ability, it reflects debuff stats back to the opponent. Corviknight can hold the item Leftovers to gradually restore its HP.

These are just a few examples of Tera Raid builds in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. There are many other Pokémon and builds that can be effective in Tera Raids. The best way to find a build that works for you is to experiment and see what works best for your playstyle.
